It consists of two or more tempered flat glass panes separated by spacers, with the edges sealed using alloy materials and then evacuated to create a reliable and long-lasting vacuum layer between the panes.
  • Good thermal insulation and heat preservation performance: The thermal insulation performance of vacuum glass is based on the principle of a vacuum thermos bottle. Its insulation effect exceeds that of a 1.5-meter-thick brick wall, being 4 to 6 times better than ordinary insulated glass. The heat transfer coefficient (U-value or K-value) is as low as 0.4 W/m²·K (the best insulation among glass, data from the German IFT test report).
  • Good sound insulation and noise reduction performance: Based on the principle that sound does not propagate in a vacuum, the weighted sound insulation reaches 39dB (CTC National Inspection Group report, the highest sound insulation among glass. Generally, the weighted sound insulation of ordinary insulated glass is around 28dB). Even if you live next to an airport, elevated bridge, or main road, the sound insulation effect is as quiet as a library.
Note: The higher the weighted sound insulation, the better the sound insulation effect. For example, if the outdoor noise is 75dB, after using tempered vacuum glass, the indoor sound level would be 36dB (75-39=36), which is generally below 40dB in a library.
  • Fully tempered, the safest vacuum glass: The stress at any point on the glass surface exceeds 90MPa, and when broken, it forms small blunt particles, meeting the national standard for tempered glass GB15763.2-2005. It has passed the American safety glass standard ANSI Z97.1 impact test and obtained certification from the American SGCC (Safety Glass Certification Council). It has passed the Intertek wind pressure test, with wind pressure resistance reaching ±7200Pa (report from the American ATI laboratory), meeting the highest domestic wind pressure standard level 9 (according to the national standard GB/T7106-2008, level 9 wind pressure resistance is ≥5000Pa). It can meet the wind pressure performance requirements for curtain walls. Additionally, the sealing material does not contain heavy metal lead and has passed RoHS certification, making it fully applicable to the global high-end home appliance market.

Note: Indoor temperature 25°C, outdoor temperature -40°C, relative humidity 70%
Anti-condensation: The interior is gas-free, preventing internal condensation or fogging. Moreover, due to its extremely low U-value, no condensation occurs even when the exterior temperature drops to -40°C.
The ultra-low dew point ensures crystal-clear visual effects for architectural windows/doors and refrigerated display cases.

Outstanding Environmental Adaptability

Since there is no thermal expansion or contraction in the high vacuum chamber, the use is not limited by geographical locations, elevation, or installation angle.
Thanks to the high vacuum chamber, there is no thermal expansion or contraction even if the elevation of the location where it's used is largely different from where it's manufactured.
Furthermore, unlike insulated glass, whether it’s mounted horizontally or at an angle, the U-value of LandVac remains constant, which ensures excellent energy-saving effect, especially suitable for skylights, sunroom, daylighting roof, and applications in other special spaces.

Benefits

Super Long Life

The service life expectancy exceeds 25 years. By using flexible edge sealing materials, Vacuum Insulated Glass overcomes the seal failure problem caused by fragile sealing materials especially in the environment with big temperature difference between the inner and outer glass surfaces. Moreover, with the assistance of built-in high efficiency getter material, it can sustain a high level of vacuum for a long time.

Tempered and Safe

Completely retains the high strength, impact resistance, and other safety characteristics of tempered glass with its unique FLAS Flexible Lead-free Alloy Sentry technology.

The surface stress and fragmentation test of LandVac conform with the standard of tempered glass with wind pressure resistance up to 7200Pa, fully meeting the requirements of the national standard.

Lead-free

The Testing Report from CTI, which is authorized by RoHS EU, has witnessed the outstanding environmental-friendly performance of LandVac.

Thanks to the high vacuum chamber of LandVac , which effectively blocks the sound transmission, the sound insulation performance is far better than insulated glass. It has remarkable acoustic properties against high penetrative medium and low frequency noises such as traffic and construction noises.

Thin and lightweight structure

A piece of 8.3 mm thick LandVac weighs only 20kg/㎡. It reduces the use of materials while extending the service life of hardware. The costs on storage and logistics are also significantly reduced.

In comparison with triple-pane insulated glass, LandVac has only a quarter of its thickness and weighs at least 10 kg less per square meter while managing a better U-value. The thin and lightweight structure of LandVac allows high-end refrigerators, fenestration hardware, and window frames to reduce their size, extend the service life, while reducing the costs on storage and logistics.

Noise Reduction

With its weighted sound reduction index exceeding 39 dB, LandVac makes rooms in downtown quiet like a library.

CTI testing concludes that the metal sealing material is lead-free, hazard-free, and food-grade safe.
